Possible interview with comedian Joe Wilkinson

Some of you may have seen Joe Wilkinson on various TV shows as he has appeared on many well known shows such as BBC's Have I Got News For You, Him and Her, Russell Howards Good News and Live At The Electric as well as 8 out of 10 Cats on channel 4. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to interview him back in 2010 but at the time I didn't know what I was doing. This led to an interview that looks and sounds very dirty and unprofessional. I recently however successfully attempted to contact Joe in order to shoot a new interview to discuss the work he has done since our last meeting. He has emailed me back saying that he is up for me interviewing him so I now have to come up with some interesting questions and arrange when and where the interview can take place.

My new website

As I proved durning the As Live unit creating a website is dead easy. Obviously this blog works nicely as a record of my work for uni projects but my new website will work as a continuing record for both work created for UCA projects as well as outside projects that I work that I complete upon finishing the course.

Major project - Early ideas

Wednesday, 2 May 2012

It's been a while since my last blog entry and stuff is speeding up quick and after the rehearsal I think the show is going to look really good. As for the promo material the website is now in a possision that it can be looked at and considered complete there are elements that can easily be added on to the pages. I have also created an advert for the home page of the website.

I have also started cutting down some of the interviews and behind the scene extras for the website an example of which is below.

AS LIVE - Where we're at now

With the recent departure of one of the members of the promo team I think it is important to take a look at the point we are at now as it won't be long before its to late.

I have created a dedicated website for Unsigned Live which is effectivly good to go but I after the rehearsal next and I get some clips of some interesting bits and pieces going on and my online clip with presenter Adam.

I have also written a full plan/ script for the behind the scenes featurete and I am really excited about getting that underway.

Fiction Adaptation - Final piece

I am very proud of my final video and am so impressed that everyone seems to have stepped up their game as every film was arguably very member of the second years best work.

Fiction Adapation - Production

Spent a long day filming out in the countryside today although I can't be sure about how the footage will look when cut together but I have a good feeling at this point.

Here are a few frames from what I shot. I must admit that these are some of the better images there are plenty that won't make it into the film.
